Kitesurfing in Sussex
Local knowlege and advice on kitesurfing Sussex from Brighton Elementary Kitesurfing School’s IKO qualified instructor Chris Miles kitesurf blog.
If you are traveling down from London the nearest place to take advantage of a clean South Westerly wind ( the best direction and most stable wind in this area ) is Brighton although the conditions there are not as good as just down the road in Shoreham or Lancing,or even better in littlehampton so in truth, you are better off going to littlehampton for your kitesurfing and then coming back to enjoy the rest of the day in Brighton.
As with all the kitesurfing in Sussex the best time to do it is two hours either side of low tide and with an onshore or side onshore winds preferably from the south west. Read more details about particular kitesurf locations in Sussex below, or if you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to get in touch.
