Sussex Kitesurfing – Brakelsham Bay
Brakelsham Bay has many large expanses of beach that are very open and beautiful and backed by a large unspoilt wildlife zones.
They all tend to have groynes and marine beacons along them which can present a hazard and the beach can run a little deep quite quickly but when the wind picks up there is some great wave riding to be had. So preferably for the more experienced kiter but a picturesque destination to visit. The great advantage here is the space as it is rare that you will find large clusters of kitesurfers or many kitesurf lessons taking place here. There are a number of locals who go out around Joliffe road when the wind is from the South West and they are a pretty friendly bunch so this would be the best place to go from if you are in the area.
